Our Story

Sierra and Jarred are living proof that the “friend zone” isn’t a dead end—it’s the foundation of something real. What started as a friendship turned into the kind of love built to last. The kind where, no matter how many years go by, they’ll always be best friends first—who just happen to be madly in love. But their story didn’t begin as friends. It started as coworkers. Jarred was a food runner and Sierra was a hostess at the Charleston Crab House on 41 S Market St. From day one, Jarred had his eyes on Sierra—but Sierra wasn’t interested…at least not yet.

Almost a year later, during their sophomore year of college, fate stepped in. Sierra was walking home from the bars when she passed by Jarred, who happened to be sitting outside on his porch. That moment sparked a friendship that quickly became the kind of bond that neither of them saw coming. Eventually, they admitted their feelings for one another and decided to give dating a shot. What began as a “trial run” turned into a seven-year love story—full of twists, chapters, dogs, cities, and careers—so much so that even their closest friends can barely keep up. They officially moved in together during their junior year of college, blending their lives—and their dogs, Chase and Kenny, who became the best step brothers anyone could ask for.

After graduation, they moved to Charlotte, NC, chasing new opportunities and a new place to call home. It was there that they grew both personally and professionally, each exploring different paths in advertising, marketing, sales, and entertainment—but always finding ways to collaborate and create together. And it was also in Charlotte that they added another beloved member to their little family: Molly, their sweet pit-bull baby girl.

Two years into Jarred’s full-time job, they took a seven-day trip to Peru, exploring vibrant towns, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable food. On Thanksgiving Day, after an ATV ride along the cliffs of Peru, Jarred proposed. Instead of diving straight into wedding planning, they made a bold decision: to build something even bigger. They co-founded Dream Culture—a company that represents everything they are, both individually and together. Dream Culture was never just about business. It was about building a life. A creative venture rooted in big dreams, shared passions, and the kind of love that turns work into purpose. Because together, Sierra and Jarred are a dream couple—with dream goals—and now, a business and a life that tells their love story every single day.

So, to all of you who have been asking over the years, “When’s the wedding?” — you can finally save the date.

Sierra and Jarred are thrilled to invite you back to where it all began—Charleston, South Carolina—to celebrate their love story on 12.13.2025
